We had an excellent dinner here last night. No menu, it's served to your party family style, the only choice is the entree' and it 's all the same price. You start out with a basket of bread right out of the oven, a tasty soup, sort of like Ministone, but different, a fresh lettuce salad with a dressing that was delicious. Also Portugese beans, and potato salad. Then the waitess asks you to choose a NY steak, Prime rib, pork shops, roast lamb, or chicken. Oh, they also put a large bottle of house red wine on the table. While you're waiting for the main dish, they bring out a lamb stew and French fries. They ask if you'd like more of anything, including wine or other beverages. The entree is served, and it was excellent. I had the NY steak, Don and Steve both went for the roast lamb. Needless to say, we left stuffed. Price with tax was $18, and worth every penny. Don has been recommending this place for years, but it's a ways off the beaten path, in Los Banos, so this was a first for Steve and I.
